Marie and cottage life on beautiful Lake Superior shores. Phyllis had diversified interests in life: loved nature, music, travel, crafts of many kinds including making hand-made quilts for new born babies; and had accumulated many dear and true friends along her life\u2019s journey. She was a willing volunteer in many capacities over many years until medical problems dictated otherwise.<\/p>\n<p>Phyllis\u2019s motto was \u201cLive Well, Love Much, Laugh Often<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I&#8217;d like the memory of me to be a happy one.<br \/>\nI&#8217;d like to leave an afterglow of smiles, when life is done.<br \/>\nI&#8217;d like to leave an echo, whispering softly down the ways.<br \/>\nOf happy times and laughing times, and bright sunny days.<br \/>\nI&#8217;d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun.<br \/>\nOf happy memories that I leave, when life on earth is done.<\/p>\n<p>Phyllis was step-mother to Susan, Robert and late Grant, 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>Phyllis was a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force Association since 1992<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>At the going down of the sun and in the morning,<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>we will remember them<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.yourlifemoments.ca\/sitepages\/obituary.asp?oid=1041895\">http:\/\/www.yourlifemoments.ca\/sitepages\/obituary.asp?oid=1041895<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Phyllis was married to Patrick Ernest Delaney (2002) and enjoyed her married life as wife to a Royal Canadian Air Force \u201ccareer person\u201d subsequently retiring back to Sault Ste.
